Don Lapre

Don Lapre is another TV guru that is hard to miss.

This is how Don Lapre does it: He sells his "package" for $39 on TV and hardly makes any money doing it. It really just pays for his ads. What it does, is give Don thousands of leads that he and his people can follow up on with mailings, telemarketing calls and specials.

Don convinces these people he knows a lot about mail order (he doesn't), government auctions (he doesn't), and 900 numbers (he knows how to sell them.) After people think Don knows a lot about home businesses, they will buy anything he puts in front of them, including $500 900 lines and $400 (or more) to resell his reminder service.

His system is really broken into three different parts. Part one is called buying and selling. Part two is on placing tiny classified ads in local and national newspapers. The third part is on 900 numbers, which we have already gone over.

Here is the lowdown: Don Lapre shows you three basic systems for making money but he really wants to sell you on his reminder service or a 900 number. I just don't think you can do anything with his information other than read it for entertainment purposes.

His other problem is this: I can't find a good thing about Don on the net. Apparently Don Lapre has the same problem Brad Richdale and William J McCorkel have. Angry customers that have spent thousands and not seen any sort of return on their investment.

I am not suggesting that there be posts from thousands of satisfied customers. I know from years of customer service that people complain more than they praise. But just one person who was happy?

You should try and find somebody who is not only going to give you the information on how to market, but also the products and support without charging you $400 to $800.
