Money making opportunities have been around as long as human history. Writing and selling them is probably the third oldest profession in the world, (next to artist and that other profession that everybody always jokes about.)

I ordered them for eight years until I finally learned how to make big money from home and of course I stopped ordering them. I am sure that I was on half of the suckers lists out there because I would order anything that was put in front of me.

It doesn't mean that the information is any different, they are just cheaper and aren't sold with fancy videos and slick seminar promoters.
