Internet Marketing

Internet marketing can be an extremely powerful tool when it comes to marketing a small business.

Most people assume that you need thousands of dollars to get your business on the net but that just isn't the case. There is the other side of the coin. Some people assume that you can buy a web site from some company, fill out a short form, fax it over to the company and get started. That just isn't the case either.

You are going to need five things to get started marketing on the internet:

  1. Domain Name: You are going to need a domain name. I have a place that you get domain names for less than $10 a year. Yes that is for a .com, .net or .org.

  2. Something to sell: You are going to need a product to sell (I can help you with that). Obviously there is no internet marketing without something to market.
    x
  3. Hosting: A place for your web site to reside. This is something that most people over pay for in the internet marketing game. You don't want free hosting but there are some low cost, excellent alternatives.
    x
  4. A web site: There are options ranging from free (not good) to spending $3,000 and having someone do it for you (way too much). I can show you three great options ranging from $99 to $750 that will not only make you money but make you happy you received my info. Internet marketing doesn't have to be expensive.

  5. Content: What are you going to have in your site? Info, headlines, links, buttons and graphics. Those are the small things that you are going to have to decide about your site. I can teach you that.

I hope this clears up any confusion about internet marketing. The internet is changing all the time but that doesn't mean that you can't make any money on it.
