Jay Abraham

Jay Abraham is the probably the most successful direct marketer on the planet. There may be some guy or gal somewhere that made $500,000,000 selling one product but Jay has had the most success, selling the most number of products and influencing the most businesses. Bottom line: He is a successful guy.

That is really what I would call Jay’s strong suit. The ability to take the four or five techniques he uses (his main ones) and adapt them to a variety of different business. Most of his stuff even works on the net which is great.

How does he do it? I believe that Jay is a combination of salesman, genius and born marketer. You can tell that when Jay Abraham speaks, he isn’t just talking from experience. He really loves this stuff.

Now, just because I find Jay Abraham extremely talented doesn’t mean that he is without his flaws.

His prices are far from cheap (in my opinion) but you do get what you pay for. A $5 book is a waste if it doesn’t make any money. He has sold some of his printed materials for over $5,000 but again, this is peanuts if it makes you money.

Make sure that if you pick up some of his information you stick to his direct marketing stuff. He had a tape set a few years back called “Your Secret Wealth” about creating a product. I didn’t care for it at all. Other than that I highly recommend his stuff.

A side note: Jay Abraham has sold thousands of his tape sets and you can often times find this stuff on E bay for 1/10 of what he originally charged for it (sometimes less). I bought a tape series of his called “Marketing Wizards” for $200. I think it originally went for around $2,000+.
