John Polk

John Polk was on TV pretty heavily about a few years ago selling a system that appeared to be about direct marketing.

There were two really interesting things about John Polk at the time. The first thing that was interesting about John Polk is the fact that he sold his system and said it was about direct marketing, when in fact he mostly talked about network marketing.

I think if John Polk had mentioned this in his infomercials less people would have ordered. That's because many people don't care for network marketing (although there isn't anything wrong with it).

The second thing that I thought was interesting about John Polk was the fact that he looked really familiar the first time I saw him talking about direct (network) marketing. This actually wasn't the first time that I had seen John Polk. It wasn't even the second, third or fourth. I knew that John Polk looked familiar because he had been on TV a few years before selling a distressed property system similar to the one that William J McCorkel sold (who is now in jail by the way).

What happened to John Polk? Funny you should ask... John was indicted and convicted on fraudulent activities dating back to the days when he was selling his distressed property system.

What is my advice? Don't sell a distressed property system, as both TV gurus that did now no longer have their freedom. They are both in jail. John Polk found that out the hard way.
