Matt Gagnon

I decided a long time ago that when I wrote an online guru section and an offline guru section that I was going to include a review about myself as if I had written it.

It isn't fair for me to write about friends, competitors and customers if I don't include something about myself that also includes some of my flaws. I wrote it in 3rd person so don't think I am weird.

I don't usually talk about myself the way Jimmy on Seinfeld did. Here we go:

Matt Gagnon is one of the newer internet marketing gurus to come out in the last three years. Matt got his start selling strength training machines for a company called Bowflex in Vancouver Washington but eventually created his own consulting manual and book about business opportunities/internet marketing.

Matt Gagnon then started doing corporate consulting for clients and personal mentoring with students. This mentoring at first was expensive but eventually he found a way to provide a lot of materials for under $300 dollars.

Are Matt's materials perfect? No. Matt's materials are quite good but he is not a professional writer. He writes like a person would talk. Is that bad? No, but he shouldn't expect to win the Nobel Prize for literature any time soon.

There you have it. I hope that will give you some idea about me as compared to the other gurus out there. Do I truly consider myself on their level? Well of course I do. They are just marketers and so am I.

Of course many of them have names that are better known than mine but I hope that will change in the next few years.
