A Million $1 Bills

The one million $1 scam has been going around the Business Opportunity world for the last ten years.

I can't believe that people fall for this piece of crap but people fall for stupid stuff all the time, so what do I know? I finally decided to put a review up about the one million $1 bills scam because two different people e-mailed me about it. They didn't want the review written to help people, they were wondering if it was real.

I decided then and there that I had to write something. Even if it was short. Here is the now infamous (although stupid) one million $1 bill scam:

You see an add that says. Get one million people to send you $1. Send me $1 and a SASE. They send you a report that shows you that you can pay them $19.95 to find out how to get the one million people to send you the $1.

Sometimes this scam is run by a mailing list company but usually just by somebody that is really stupid. If you order the report, they send you a 10 page or 20 page report that shows you different places to advertise and take our these ads that say "Get one million people to send you $1. Send me $1 and a SASE".

Now you know. This seems pretty dumb huh? It is actually so dumb that the tonight show (with Jay Leno) actually used it in one of Jay's bits where he shows screw ups or stupid stuff in the newspaper.

Hopefully next time you see an add like this you will laugh instead of sending in your money.
